so... 2008 ended up with:

1. developing external obliques (it looks rather tardy if you do not notice the tummy)
2. a good career start
3. 2 CD purchases - dido and juno (cat power is woah power)
4. bangkok, redang, hainan dao, and kuala lumpur
5. more books that my shelves can contain
6. have i mentioned nicer arms??
7. everything will be alright. if i just breathe
8. having my gaming-researching-surfing-writing report multitasking skillz pay off, making me ultra l33t at work
9. winning at mahjong and developing some skillz in tile blocking
10. discovering that i am a music hobo, i listen to mainly crap and i savage music from friends
11. hosting games for my company's year-end party
12. the cat in the hat
13. putting on weight when everyone else is wanting to lose it
14. converting a few friends to the gospel of the tampon
15. proving lilian otherwise

a good year, personal achievements which i am very proud of, sights and travels, a great year in fact. i must say i am quite successful for a twenty year-old.
